Margherita Vicario is a versatile artist who moves effortlessly between music, film, and theater. A singer-songwriter, actress, and director, she stands out for her personal style and her willingness to experiment. In 2023, she made her directorial debut with GLORIA!, presented at the 2024 Berlinale. The film was distributed in more than 40 countries and won numerous awards, including three David di Donatello Awards, two Nastro d’Argento Awards, and two Golden Globe Awards. It also inspired a national tour, and the soundtrack, co-written with Dade, gave rise to the single ARIA!. Also in 2023, she launched SHOWTIME, a format that combines podcasts and music with a four-track EP and a tour of Italian clubs. With two albums under her belt—Minimal Musical (2014) and Bingo (2021)—her musical career took off, taking her to prestigious stages across Italy and Europe. At the same time, she has acted in films and TV series and collaborated with big names in music (Vinicio Capossela, Francesco Guccini, Elodie, La Rappresentante di Lista, etc.) and cinema (Woody Allen, Lamberto Bava, Pappi Corsicato).
