Originally from Colombia, she earned a degree in Social Communication with a focus on audiovisual production and journalism. In 2001, she moved to Italy to study cultural marketing at the University of Bologna. Her career has centered on developing a wide range of skills, from documentary production to copywriting and content creation in Italian, English, and Spanish, as well as multimedia content creation and the development of communication and digital marketing strategies. She writes on international politics, feminism, and current events for Colombian newspapers, magazines, and websites such as El Heraldo, La Silla Vacía, and Noticias Ya! (a radio news program), where she conceived and developed the section “Buongiorno desde Italia,” which covers current events related to Italy and the European continent of political and cultural interest (Podcast).
She currently writes for the literary blog Versante Ripido, where she edits the “Spirali” column, and for the print magazine Le Fanzine. Since 2018, she has been a member of Gruppo ‘98 Poesia, a renowned feminist poetry collective in Bologna, where she continues to explore her intercultural perspective on her host country and the role of women in Italian society. In 2023, she produced and directed the documentary “Lo sguardo delle altre,” based on the history and feminist activism of Gruppo ‘98 Poesia. She was the second-place finalist in the Bologna in Lettere Oral and Performance Poetry Competition (2023). In 2024, she conceived the podcast and series “Attraversate,” a project created to highlight the literary and artistic production of migrant women in Italy. In 2025, she published the poetry collection “Parole Radicate” (Puntoacapo editrice).
She currently works as a communications and digital marketing consultant specializing in corporate storytelling and projects focused on women’s empowerment.
