Sara Menetti is a freelance artist, comic book author, and illustrator based in Bologna, working in publishing and cultural programming in Italy and abroad. Since 2013, she has been a member of the independent collective Mammaiuto, with which she leads a self-publishing project focused on contemporary comics. In 2022, she collaborated with writer Susanna Raule on “Cherchez, Les Femmes!” to mark the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Alongside her artistic practice, she is also involved in teaching; she instructs at the Scuola Comics in Reggio Emilia and leads drawing and visual storytelling workshops.
