A sociologist, journalist, and writer, he has served as a correspondent in the former Yugoslavia and the Middle East. A longtime contributor to Controradio Firenze and Popolare Network, he has also worked with RadioRai3 and Radio Svizzera Italiana. He has written for Italian newspapers (Corriere Fiorentino, L’Unità, Il Manifesto, Europa, Alias, Il Diario) and Israeli newspapers (Haaretz), magazines (Micromega, L’Espresso), and news websites (corriere.it). An author of essays, he teaches Theories and Techniques of Public Communication at PIN, the Prato campus of the University of Florence.
