Born in Ancona in 1966, Daniele Del Pozzo is a curator and cultural engineer active in the fields of contemporary culture and social innovation. He graduated from the DAMS program at the University of Bologna and then trained as an international cultural professional through the CLI – Cultural Leadership Programme, sponsored by the British Council. In 2003, he founded the Gender Bender Festival, where he served as co-artistic director, and in 2013, Teatro Arcobaleno, a project dedicated to childhood and adolescence. An expert in international contemporary dance projects, from 2013 to 2023 he served as project leader for Performing Gender, supported by Creative Europe. He participates in national projects such as DNAppunti coreografici and Rifrazioni, dedicated to research and accessibility in live performance. He curated summer cultural seasons for the municipalities of Bologna and Ancona between 2005 and 2013. He is one of the founders of the Link Project in Bologna, an independent center for cultural production and urban regeneration. In 2018, he received the Ubu Award for Best Italian Curator of Performing Arts. That same year, he won the Eolo Award for Teatro Arcobaleno as the best national children’s theater project.
