Ernesto Pagano is a journalist, author, and documentary filmmaker. He began his career in 2011 with Rai 3’s Report and has collaborated on international co-productions for organizations such as Arte and National Geographic. His film Napolislam was a finalist at the 2016 Nastri d’Argento Awards. In 2022, his film Tutankhamun: The Last Exhibition, narrated by Iggy Pop, was distributed in over 40 countries. A profound expert on the Middle East, where he lived for five years in Cairo, he has been working for twenty years in communications for social projects and development cooperation.
